Andrés Pérez Orduz, is a partner of the firm with extensive experience in compliance, competition and consumer law. Prior to joining Palacios Lleras, Andrés was a Senior advisor to the Office of the Superintendent of Industry and Commerce on compliance and free competition matters, being in charge of coordinating his team of advisors on these issues. At the Competition Authority, he also served as Merger Control Director and was the first Director of the Compliance Division, where he led the drafting and issuance of the Competition Law Compliance Programs Implementation Guidelines, currently in force.
Before joining the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, he worked at a prestigious law firm where he advised and represented clients in judicial litigation and administrative proceedings in matters related to restrictive business practices, merger control, unfair competition, and consumer protection.
He is a professor of the Specialization in Competition Law at the Javeriana University and the Master’s Degree in Markets and Competition at the Externado University, as well as the Course in Compliance and Corporate Governance at the Universidad del Norte.
