She has held positions at prominent public sector entities, including the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of the Interior, and the Ministry of Mines and Energy. Her extensive experience has afforded her a profound understanding of the state’s operations and the formulation, design, and execution of public policies in the energy sector.
In the private sector, he held a position for nearly nine years at the Colombian Oil and Gas Association (ACP), where he served as Vice President of Legal and Legislative Affairs. In this role, he spearheaded strategies to fortify the legal and regulatory framework of the hydrocarbons sector, navigating a complex regulatory and political landscape.
Currently, she is about to start a Master of Laws in Public Management at the European University of Madrid, strengthening her strategic vision and her ability to design innovative solutions at the intersection between law and public policy. This training will complement her expertise in energy sector regulation and her ability to anticipate changes in the regulatory and political environment.
As Partner of the Mining-Energy practice at Palacios Lleras, her primary target objective will be to provide comprehensive counsel to national and international companies on the legal and regulatory challenges of the sector. She will ensure that strategic and effective solutions are implemented in a constantly evolving environment.
